Vertebrate Mistery Story

Hello!


Following the clues try to find out the mysterious group of vertebrates:


1. This is the only vertebrate group to have hollow bones.


2 The most massive bone found in this group of vertebrates is the "keel" or the "breast bone".


3. Like one other vertebrate group, this group is warm-blooded and mantains a high body temperature.


4. This group lay eggs.


5. It is theorized that this group of vertebrates were the descendants of dinosaurs.


6. These vertebrates are adapted to a highly specialized method of movement of locomotion.

  1. I think that the mysterious group of vertebrates is birds because birds are the only vertebrates that have hollow bones.They also are descendants from dinosaurs and of course they lay eggs and they are warm-blooded.

    The activity make me think very much.

  3. This mysterious group of vertebrates is the birds. Because they have hollow bones and they have keel. Mammals and birds are warm-blooded, but birds lay eggs and mammals no. Birds come from of dinosaurs.
