Have you ever been curious about something?
I think we are all curious and we want to know things like: where we came from, how the universe was created and things like that.
Sometimes we do not know things that are interesting but not very important as previous.
Here I bring you some curiosities that I suppose you interest.
Curiosity 1
Do you know that Ernes Vincent wrote a novel calles "Gadsby" which contains over 50,000 words and none of which contain the letter "e".
Curiosity 2
Do you that in space astronauts can not mourn because the absence of gravitational attraction, the tears can not flow.
Curiosity 3
The praying mantis is the only insect that can turn its head 180º.
Curiosity 4
A lump of pure gold the size of a matchbox can be flattened to make a sheet the size of a tennis court.

ReplyDeleteThis post is so funny, like javi has said, because I didn't know this curiosities. The first one is the most interesting for me, but this is my opinion.
1- Seahorse choose a wife for the rest of their lifes and when she dies, the husband die too.
2-Yes but I am not curious in all things, because, for example, I don't like cricket and, therefore, I'm not interesting in curious things of this topic.
3-I think almost the same of Javi, so, I am not going to repeat it.

1. If you take away the whiskers of a cat, he can't walk properly and therefore he loses his balance and he falls.

1- Did you known that is physicaly impossible for pigs to look at the sky?
2- Yes, I am so curious, and I love to learn new things.
3- Because almost all the people (including me) wants to know things about the world in wich they live, because, after learn a curiosity of, for examples, the pigs, when you see a pig, you find they can't to look at the sky.

ReplyDeleteFrom my point of view, your post is good, because you had the middle point of making it fun without falling into the boredom. Moreover, our partners have discovered a lot of curiosities, and if you read all of them, then you become amazed and surprised! As Inma said, I couldn't imagine some of the curiosities you've found.
Ex. 1| A headline of the media said: "A woman organized her own funeral to know what people think about her". When I read it, my face was like --> O.o
Ex. 2| Yes, I am. I think we all are curious, but of course, curious doesn't mean that you are everyday looking for information about any topic... I think it's something that you feel, and when you become curious about the English flag (a silly example), you have to know it.
Ex. 3| I think that we want to know and be sure of the place where we live, and feel protected. Moreover, curious isn't only reading these curiosities for example, it's watching the news, I think.
