The mode
As you know, people don't stop talking about topics like 'mode'. There were, there are and there will be different trends depending of the age. For example:
The decade ‘1600 – 1700’:
All modern and independent women wanted to get a haircut that consisted of a form of a ''mushroom'' as Beatles. The artificiality of the 50's had disappeared. In this decade, people didn't use excessive makeup.
The decade ‘1800’:
The style wasn't limited only to the makeup, the hair and the accessories. Women wished to stand out in their works. The body should be natural and trained, so some people went to find cosmetic surgeries. The natural care was frenzy.
The volume and colours were typical things in the 80's.
The most emblematic clothes were the colourful shirts. Now, the makeup was overdone and women wore a lot of bracelets and mini-skirts.
The decade ‘1900’:
Women were overwhelmed and they began to think that they should be tall and seductive.
However, the mode of the 90's was based on the variety. They wanted to express their individuality and they wanted to be express freely. Casual clothes became the mode of the 90's. Also, the piercings and tattoos were common in 1900.
The actual decade (2000 and more):
The new models of the pants were at the height of the hip because women wanted to show their back or their paunch. During the summer, women usually wore short dresses and low-cut shirts. Nowadays, people don't wear the same clothes. It depends of your environment, people around you and more things... Each year there is a special colour that appears always in all the shops: purple, green... some months the pants are patterned... or just are skinny jeans. Each person is different so:
Try to find your own image and feel comfortable with what you're wearing.

1) I usually wear normally clothes ( sport clothes, jeans...) but in special moments like Holy Week I try to wear elegant clothes because it is an important "party" in the year and is common to wear wonderfull clothes. But I use normally clothes in the daily routine because I think that they are comfortable
2) I think that in decade 1900 because here the clothes weren´t ugly like the others decades. Also, the clothes of this decade are very similar to the clothes of today
3) Sweater, leggins and dress is my favourite outfit ( for a woman). I think that it is the most comfortable and you can wear it during the week
4) You haven´t to hear the people that say you that your clothes are awful. Simply, wear whatever you want without any opinions of the rest
5) Yes, I would. I think that it is a creative job where you can create kinds of clothes that you like and show them to the people that love mode.

ReplyDeleteI want to say to Ana that this is a wonderfull post. I have learnt many things about mode while I reading this post.
1- I usually wear a jeans and in the upper part of my body, I sometimes wear a t-shirt or a pull and trainers, and in special occasions like a birthday, new year or something like that, I wear trousers and a shirt (sometimes with a pull) and shoes.
2- I would like to visit in the decade "1900", because I like it because those clothes were very basics, and I like go with they because I don't like atrack attention with my clothes.
3- The outfit that I like more it's when the woman wore white trousers, a black jacket, a t-shirt with neckline and a open white shirt.
4- You mustn't take attention to the people opinion, wear whatever you like!!
5- No, because I don't like so much that job although I watched the video.. ja, ja, ja..

2-I think that in the decade 1900 because the clothes in the others decades were too estranges.
3-in my oppinion the best outfit that i saw in the video is:leggins, blue shirt and a coat because it´s too confortable.
4-Wear whatever you wont, the oppinion of the rest doesn´t matter
5-NO because it´s too difficult and I´m not good using these tipe of softwares.

3.- The outfit that I liked most was the dress with cardigan and leopard scarf is the most comfortable.
4.- Get dressed as you want and don't listen to the people.
5.- No, there are other professions that I like better, although being a designer wouldn't be bad.

ReplyDelete1- I usually wear jeans, colourfoul T-shirts with jean- jackets or cadirgans. I don't usuallly wear sport clothes, but sometimes.
2- Probably, I would like in 90s, because clothes were similar to today's clothes and they weren't as extrange as before that.
3- in y opinion, the first look was the most interesting. It looks elegant, but it is very confortable with that tipe of boots and the scarf.
4- Your look have to reflect how are you, not how is the rest of the world.
5- I think this is an interesting job, but I don't like it so much. Mode is really tiring.

ReplyDeleteThis has been a wonderful post, because we have gone through the history of the mode in only a few minutes. Also you've added great videos that show us the life of people that work in this type of work and how can we wear in special ocassions. So, good job.
1| I usually wear a jeans and a T-Shirt in the school, and when I'm out I wear more beautiful Shirts and T-Shirts. I wear sports clothes only in summer, when it's very hot, but if I can go well-dressed then I go.
2| I would like to live in the sixties, because I think that those clothes are so funny and over all, I like their glasses. I have to admit that I won't wear these clothes today, althought I will use them as a fancy-dress.
3| The clothes that I like the most are the second ones (shirt and leggins). These are plain clothes, but they are really fantastic.
4| Pride feels no cold. It's a saying which has translation in Spanish. If we translate literally from Spanish it means "If I walk keeping warm, I don't mind if they mock of me".
5| I don't like this job, I don't find it interesting. I think that in mode and fashion, the important thing is to have fame, not to make the most beautiful clothes, and I don't like it. I prefere other jobs more fair.

1-. I usually wear a jeans with a T-shirt, a jacket and with sports or manoletinas; but sometimes I like wear sport clothes with sports, because is more comfortable.
2-. I would like to live in the decade of 90s, because I think the clothes is more beautiful than the other decades, and it is more comfortable. Also, I like wear more comfortable.
3-. I like the second outfit: black leggings, blue shirt, white and black jacket with leopard shoes.
4-. Dress whatever you want, so you are comfortable, no matter the opinions of others.
5-. I don´t like this job, I prefer others that I like more.

ReplyDelete1-When I go to the school or in weekends when I go out with friends, I wear something adecuated to this type of situation, but when I'm at home or if I have to go somewhere else, I wear sport clothes because it's more confortable.
2-The decade of 80s because the clothes are too similar as we where nowadays.
3-If I say the true, I didn't like any of the clothes that she wore, but if I have to choose one, I prefere the second one because it's more funny!
4-You must to be comfortable with the clothes that you wear because it isn't what people want you to be, but what you want to be.
5- No, I don't because my imagination is a bit extrange, sometimes I have a lot of imagination and other times I am over the clouds!

ReplyDelete1-Well, when I go to school I usually wear confortable clothes such as jeans and a t-shirt, but, when I go out with my friends or with my parents to a important date I wear more elegant clothes.
2-The decade of 1900, because the clothes that they wore were so confortable and also cool.
3-I like the secon outfit beacuse it´s so cool and confortable.
4-"get dressed as you want, is another form of expression."
5- If I say the true, I don`t know, I thonk that no because my imagination is nule, but I don`t know.

1- When I go to the high school I always wear clothes that there aren´t comfortable, I hardly ever wear something uncomfortable
2- 90s decade because its very similar to nowadays
3- leggins, blue shirt and a coat because it´s comfortable
4- Wear whatever you like because people can´t judge you
5- I don´t know because I don´t like to be a designer..
