Carlos Jean Arriaga was born on June 15, 1973 in Ferrol, La Coruña. His ability to understand and combine the different worlds that make up the music, have made of him one of the most prolific creators of the Spanish music industry. Jean Carlos is a musician, singer Haitian partially of Spanish origin, producer, remixer and DJ.
His passion for the music began from child, where was part of the school band.
His appearance in scene as an artist was in 1998, when he and Najwa Nimri gave form to one of the best albums of electronic music in this country, "No Blood". This album allowed him to position itself in the Asian market (Japan) and in the U.S., and sold about 200,000 units.
In 2000, Carlos Jean throws alone "Planet Jean". Because of this record several Spanish artists began to count on him as producer and mixer.
In 2011, decides to launch an ambitious project and it creates a company called Novaemusik. Trying to retrieve the collaborative character creates "Plan B". Today it can be said that the volume of records sold worldwide and over 10 million has impacted heavily on the Latino market, both in the U.S. and Latin America.
Carlos Jean has earned throughout his career, an extensive social recognition through various awards and nominations. In 2002, he won an Ondas to the best DJ and remixer and since then he has been nominated several times for the Grammy music awards, Goya, Latin Grammy and awards Top 40.
