Some people say ‘the end of the world will not arrive because the Mayan calendar hasn’t got leap-years’. So, the world’s end should has been seven months ago… I don’t know if it is true or false, but… do you really believe in the prediction of the Mayans? What will happen if it were true? It’s really mysterious…

1) If supossly the world will end on 21th December, the days until the final day, I want to stay with my friends and family, and do things that I never do.
2) One teory that I heard is that the poles are going to convert in water and all the ice that is store in the poles is going to be in our seas and oceans, and it is a lot of water! So we die because of floods. Other teory is the climate, the constantly change of climate... It can be another teory about the end of our world
3) I think that if their calendar hasn´t got leap-years, all the things about the end of the world are false. Seeing Mayan´s calendar, the end of the world would be 7 months ago I think!

ReplyDeleteGood post, as Antonio have said an interesting one... Some people is now terrorified of that. And as Antonio have said, I like to being aware of other cultures, other religions and be aware of theories about 'the End of the World'.
1| I don't know what I would do in the world ends in December but... I think that first I would go to confession. And then, I would do what I want in the moment... Spend time with my family, spend time with some of my friends and I would shout. Shout a lot.
2| Well, a theory that I heard is that the Sun will approach to the Earth. The sky is going to be more and more orange, and then we will die (because the sun will melt us).
3| Yes, I heard it. But, I've to say that if you believe in something, Maths or Science can't change it. I mean, if they said that the world will end 21st December, people who believe it won't change their belief because of the calendar change...
4| I never have heard about the Old Goddess, so I'd to find it in Google.

I personally think two basical things about this theme.
First; we are scared about what will happen, and when we can't control what will happen, we are always scared. You've to think, that if the End of the World comes in two months, it will come, and nobody will stop it.
In second place, I don't mind who believes in that but... If we are catholic, we think that the End of the World will come in a lot of years, and nothing of that Mayas said will happen. So decide if the theme of the End of the World we are Maya or Catholic. IT'S MY OPINION; YOU CAN HAVE OTHER, but this is mine.

1- I'd like doing "puenting", skydiving... I'd spend my time with my loved ones, and I'd do things that you can't do any day. And I will try to carry out my dreams!
2- I heard that the Earth's core will explode and all the living beings will die, and also I heard once, that cimply, from a moment to another, we wil disspeared. These are only rumours...
3- I think that it doesn't have leap-years because in the Mayan calendar doesn't fit more years, simply...

1. I would like to use the time to the maximum, if it finish (I hope not) fire me from my family and friends. I would go to Barcelona to say goodbye to my cousins and uncles, especially to confess and take away all my sins, for if it is true that just ... go in peace.
2. I heard a theory that a meteorite compacting to the Earth, this would cause an earthquake, making a tsunami that would wipe out the entire planet. This is one version.
3. In the Mayan calendar did not have leap years (according to some researchers), I think it has nothing to do with leap years to the world.

My answers are:
1-I would pass more time with my family and friends and live the life in each moment, but that's what I do now, so i will follow my life like now.
2-I read that will be a big tsunami and all the Earth will be cover of water.
