Do you know about the football? I think that you know about it!
But, do you know about some players of this funny sport?
Don't worried, because I'm going to present you some of them.
The fist player is Zinedine Zidane:
Zinedine Yazid Zidane was born on 23 June 1972. He
is a retired french footballer. His playing position was attackin
midfielder and the people called him "the magician of the
ball" for his goals in the Real Madrid Club Football
and as controlled a lot of balls.
I think that when he played, he was a star of this sport.

The second player is Lionel Messi:
Lionel Andrés Messi was born on 24 June 1987. He is an Argentine footballer who plays in the LFP. Moreover, he is playing in the FC Barcelona and is the captain of the Argentina nacional team, playing mainly as a forward. He is in the list of the 10 best players in the world, because when he catch a ball, this expert is amazing with it. That is why the people called him "la pulga".
The third player is Pelé:
Edison Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé was born on 21 October 1940. He was an excelent forward and a mildfielder of the football. He is regarded by many experts, players, and fans as the best player of all time, for this, the people called him "O Rei Pelé".
And the last player is Iker Casillas:
Iker Casillas Fernández was born on 20 May 1981. He is a spanish football
goalkeeper who captains the Real Madrid Club Football and the Spanish national team.
Nowadays, is well-known as the best goalkeeper of the world.
This extraordinary and special man is known as "el Santo".
And now, some questions :
1~ In what teams played Zidane apart from the Real Madrid CF?
2~ What prizes received Messi during his profession? (Tell me about 4 or 5 prizes...)
3~ What cups won Pelé in 1962?
4~ In what year Casillas debuted with the Real Madrid?

ReplyDeleteI want to say to Ruben that I really like his post. Football isn't my favourite sport, but I like it very much. I knew some about these players except Pelé. And now I know some about him. So, congratulations!
1. He played with Cannes, Girondins of Burdeos, Juventus of Turín, and finally, with Real Madrid CF. He was a fantastic player in all of them.
2. Well, Messi has won a lot of prizes such as the Bronze Ball in 2007, Bravo Trophy in 2007 too, the Silver Ball in 2008, the Golden Ball in 2009 and the Pichichi Trophy in 2010.
3. In 1962, he won ''the Intercontinental Cup'', although he could not play so much because he had an injury, ''the World Cup'' and ''the Libertadores Cup''
4. He belonged to the inferiors categories of Real Madrid C.F., but he made his first debut with them in 2000.
PD: I have seen all the videos, they are good! I really like Iker Casillas! He's the best for me.

ReplyDeleteBefore starting, I wanna say to Ruben that as you know I don't understand almost anything about sports, so for me it's difficult to catch some things about football... But with your posts I always learn. It's part of our general knowledge in Spain. What I like the most of your post are footballers' nick, they are very funny.
1| He played in Cannes, in Bordeaux and in Juventus. He finally played with Real Madrid FC. He is retired footballer.
2| One courious thing that I could read in Internet, is that he is Sports World Heritage. He also has the Golden Ball, the European Golden Shoe and the Olimpia Award (in Argentina). Well, this footballer has a lot of awards, but as you've said, I wrote the most importants ones.
3| He won differents prizes in 1962. He won the World Cup, the Campeonato Paulista and the Copa Libertadores.
4| He debuted in Real Madrid in the year 1999.

1. He played in Cannes (1988-1992), Bordeaux (1993-1996), Juventus (1997-2001) and Real Madrid (2002-2006). He was signed by Florentino Pérez to play in the Real Madrid through a serviette, Florentino wrote a sum of money and Zinedine accepted the Florentino's sum of money.
2. Leo has 3 Golden Balls, 1 Shoe of Golden, Prize of the IFFHS to the maximum high-scoring of the year...
3. He won 3 cups! Copa Libertadores, Campeonato Paulista and the World Cup.
4. In the 1999/2000 season.

3- He won the two brasilian cups, Copa Libertadores y el campeonato Paulista and the World Cup with his country, Brazil
4- He debuted in 1999, exactly 12 September. Guus Hiddink was the coach that called the first time to Iker. We are very lucky, we have the best goalkeeper in the world.
